Culvita Potting Soil Special is not only composed of the best types of peat, but also contains EasyCoat, which means that no additional fertilisation is required for the first 6 months.

What is this suitable for:
Culvita Potting Soil Special is developed for all house, balcony, terrace, border and perennial plants. This Potting Soil Special is ideally suited for potting and repotting houseplants.

What not suitable for:
Do not use Culvita Potting Soil Special for acid-loving plants, such as the hododendron, azalea, fern and erica (heath). For these plants we recommend using Culvita Planting Soil for Acid-loving Plants.

The addition of EasyCoat ensures that the nutrients are released slowly, which encourages even growth without the need to worry about additional fertilization. Please note that this potting soil is not suitable for acid-loving plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas and ferns; for these plants we recommend Culvita Planting Soil for Acid-Loving Plants.

Culvita has perfected this tradition with modern additions such as EasyCoat, to ensure your plants get the best start, without the hassle of constant fertilizing.

Application:

• Moisten the root ball well. If you want to repot a plant in a larger pot or planter, make sure the new pot is clean. If the pot is unglazed, first let it soak up water well.
• If necessary, place a few potsherds on the bottom hole. It is recommended to place some Culvita Hydro grains as a drainage layer at the bottom of the pot.
• Fill the new pot or planter with Culvita Potting Soil Special and place the plant in the pot or planter without damaging the roots. Water generously but make sure that no water remains in the pot. Plants in pots or planters should be watered regularly during the growing and flowering season. Prevent the potting soil from drying out completely.
